8 Months

Brody is now 8 months, and I can not believe it! Time has gone by so fast. It is crazy! What is he up to these days???

-Sleeping through the night (YAY!!!) from around 9:30pm-6:30am

-Eating 3 meals a day, plus formula

-Snack include puffs, Mum-Mums, and (now) baby cheese doodles from Gerber

-Crawling

-No teeth yet

-You can stand up holding on to something, but not pulling up yet, although you try

-Love watching Pierce, and you chase after him

-You like Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, but your attention span only allows you to watch it for about 2 minutes at a time

-You love to clap, and especially when we say "yay"

-Saying "bye-bye" and attempt to wave, and say "da-da"

-You LOVE to give kisses, even to strangers! You need to save them for your mommy and daddy!

-You love to laugh

-You are EXTREMELY ticklish.....everywhere.....anytime! I love it!

-You are such a happy baby, you can entertain yourself, and you love when we play on the floor with you

-You LOVE, love, love strings, straps, and buttons!

-You also love your swing! It doesn't take long once you are in there, and you are FAST asleep!

-You still like your jumperoo, although I think you are kind of getting tired of it. You have definitely mastered it though!

On The Move

Brody is on the move!

He can get just about any where he wants by doing an army crawl, rolling, and now, his new means of transportation.....

He is still working on perfecting his skills, but here is a quick little video of his attempt:

You know they always do their "best" when you don't have a camera around, but this will have to do for now.

It is so cute watching him crawl. I can't believe how fast he is growing up!

Weekend Accomplishments

This is going to be a quick post. I just have to brag on my little man. This weekend, he has been on a roll with new things. He has started saying "bye-bye" now, which makes 2 "words", he crawled FORWARD this time. At most, he is taking 4 "crawls". I'm not sure if that even makes sense, but I sure do like it! Now, he is clapping. He loves to play "Patty Cake", and when we say "Yay", he just claps, and claps, and claps! He was even clapping when I changed his diaper this morning! I am so proud of him. It is always so exciting when your child does new things. Working in rehab, in Occupational Therapy, you see alot of kids that are less fortunate. It really makes me sad, but I know God puts people here everyday for a reason!

Meet Pierce

Pierce is our dog. He is a mix between a Yorki and a Peekapoo. Brody thinks he is just the funniest thing in the world. Everytime he sees him, he just gets so cracked up. Brody really likes when Pierce runs around, squeeks his toys, and especially sneezes.

I took a short video of Brody laughing at Pierce playing. He is so sweet, and we just love hearing him laugh!

Lazy, Rainy, Sunday

Today has been a lazy day. We had storm earlier, and it has been raining all day. After Brody woke up from his nap, I decided to do a little photo shoot with him in his room. I put a pair of jeans on him that I think are so adorable. They are Lucky Brand, and they look just like "Men's" jeans. They have a zipper, snap, real pockets, and frayed bottoms. Too CUTE! Jump Yourself To Sleep

Brody absolutely LOVES his jumperoo. He jumps, and jumps, AND JUMPS! Lately, he jumps so much, and so hard, that he just wears himself completely out! This is how he usually ends up...

I just had to take a picture of it! Believe it or not, sometimes while he is asleep, he sneaks a couple of jumps in. It is so funny!
