Random

We had a date night Friday night. My mom and dad kept Brody for us. We went to Outback for dinner, and we didn't even have to wait! That was very exciting! We got to sleep a little longer than normal, and then went to IHOP for breakfast! It was so yummy! Saturday, I had a double wedding shower to go to. My two cousins are getting married in May and June, and since they live out of town, my family gave them a double shower.

Saturday night, we headed to Mike's Farm for dinner. Chris's parents went, along with Cliff, Heather, and Miss Reagan. It was so much fun! Brody got to help feed the goats some corn! The food is GREAT! They have the BEST mac-n-cheese too!!! We attempted to take some pictures, but all we had were cell phones, so the picture quality was not really that great!

Today we skipped church because we had a family reunion to go to. It is a HUGE family reunion with 200-250 people! We usually have it at a big park, but due to the possibility of rain, we had it at a church. It was fun, but Brody usually takes a nap right after lunch, so we couldn't stay long. When we got home, Brody crashed!

While Brody takes his nap, we are being lazy! Chris is leaving for NY tomorrow, and will be back Wednesday! I wish we could go! We are very excited about this weekend. We are leaving for vacation on Saturday, and will be gone until the following Saturday! SO excited to get away!

Hope everyone enjoys what's left of the weekend!

Peeps

I usually don't give Brody candy or "junk" food. He's not really a great eater, so I would rather him eat healthier foods. He really has started eating a LOT better now.

Our house was and still is overcome by Easter candy, so Brody had his first taste of Peeps! He LOVED them!

The First Of Many I'm Sure

They said it would happen...

I've read about "them" on my monthly emails...

I have NOT been waiting for it to come...

Well,

It

Did!

Tonight.

Granted he was tired (I'm not giving excuses), but really?

Brody threw his first "real" fit tonight. Over NOTHING! I don't even know what it was about. We just came inside from playing outside, and all was good. Then, all of a sudden...............there it was! He slung his self on the floor and started crying, and scooting all around. I just watched. I don't think you are suppose to react to a situation like that, but I'm not sure. I really don't think I knew how to react. So I did what any good mom would do, I grabbed my phone (video camera), and hit RECORD! Oh, the memories!!!

Happy Easter!!!

We have had a busy weekend! Friday afternoon, we decided to go back to the daffodil field for a quick photo shoot with one of my friends, and her two girls. Most of the daffodils had already bloomed and died, but we managed to find a few good ones for the pictures.

Brody was in love! He got to spend his day with two beautiful little girls! When Kendra called me about going to take pictures, I hadn't tried Brody's Easter outfit on him yet. When I put it on, it was way too big! I didn't have time to move the buttons to make it smaller, so in all of his pictures, atleast one shoulder is exposed!

Miss Grayson loved having her pictures taken! It is way easier taking her pictures because you can place her where you want her, and get a few fun shots too!

I L-O-V-E this picture above! Brody's face is priceless! Logan is trying to give him a kiss, and his face is so funny! I know he want always do that, but right now, it cracks me up!

She is a natural! Most of her "poses" she thought of her self. She would be playing around, and come up with a cute pose. As for the other two, there were NO "posing"!

Logan

I think this is the cutest picture! They loved this log that was randomly on the ground, and it ended up making a really cute picture!

Brody didn't stay in one place long! He was constantly on the move!

Saturday morning, we had an Easter Egg Hunt at my church. There was so many kids, so we divided the kids up. The smaller kids used one playground, and the older kids took the big play ground for their hunt. Candy and eggs were everywhere! Brody kept calling the eggs, "balls", and then he would throw them! Here are a few pictures from the Easter Egg Hunt:

And finally to end our Saturday, we celebrated my niece Reagan's 1st Birthday! They also had an Easter egg hunt at the party. There were so many babies there, and we had so much fun! Happy 1st Birthday Reagan!!! I didn't take any pictures at the party because I forgot my camera.

Now, as soon as my two boys wake up from their naps, we are headed to Lowe's to get some sand to fill up Brody's new sandbox his Grandma Rouse got him.

Hope everyone had a nice Easter weekend!!!
