Father's Day 2010

Chris,

Thank you for being the best father to Brody! He is one lucky little boy! He admires you, and loves spending time with you........especially outside! He gets so excited when you come home from work, and he always runs up to you and squeezes your leg. It's all I can do, to not to squeeze him. Sometimes, I feel like I could just explode with so much happiness when I am with you two! I love you, and I can't imagine my life without you! Thank you for all you do! We love you so much!

Here's Brody giving daddy his card on Father's Day morning! I didn't take many pictures that day, but one of the cutest ones is below. Brody and I made Chris a Father's Day surprise! It was an Oreo dessert. Brody loved helping me make it..........I really think he loved eating it too! I sat him on the bar, and he went right to work! Sorry it's so small, I took it with my cell phone.

4th of July Weekend

We had a really good 4th of July weekend! We didn't do anything special, or go to the beach. The best part was I didn't have to work! We spent most of our time outside! Brody loves being outside, and when he's out there, he is as happy as he can be!

We filled up Brody's pool, and that kept Brody entertained! Chris even put the slide in the pool, and that ended up being Brody's favorite!

We met some friends, and Chris's parents at the mall to watch Fireworks on Saturday night. It was a lot of fun. Brody loves these two little girls so much! Grayson makes him laugh like crazy, and he thinks Logan is his girlfriend!

Sunday night, we headed to the Kinston Indians game. After the game, they had fireworks! I have to say that those fireworks were the best I have ever seen! I was very impressed with Kinston that night!

Swing Part 2

Here's how you started out....

Within 5 minutes, this is what happened...

Brody's Swing

Brody loves to swing! When I say loves, I mean LOVES!!! My dad, who Brody calls "Pa-Pa", came over one day and built him a swing. Brody is very impatient, and as soon as he saw the actual swing seat, he started crying and saying "wing". It was so sweet because he would drag the seat all over the yard. He wanted to swing so bad!
